Steven left this morning…so hard to see him go. I know, though, that he will remain a lifetime friend no matter where either of us lives.

White water rafting on the White Salmon river was…a blast! I never thought it’d be that much fun. A pretty long day, floatin’ down the river and screaming through the rapids. Culiminated in us going over a class 5 waterfall and, with 6 hefty bears on the raft…we went deep into the water at the bottom of Hussum falls. Popped back up and really just hooted and hollered…it was a good day.

As sad as I am about my close friend moving away, I’m in a decent frame of mind…it’s improving, anyway.

T from St. P is arriving in an hour…gotta go pick him up at the airport.

My blog will be fun again once I get past this rough patch!

OY! All these changes…

Yeah, I deleted all my old posts. That was probably a bit rash, but sometimes I do things impulsively. I decided there were too many names of people I knew and organizations I am involved with, and searching any of those names and places would bring up my blog…so I’ve decided my blog needs to be s little more socially appropriate.

Other changes…I’ve been laid off from my job! The non-profit aids service organization that I managed ran out of money to pay any staff…but I am still staying on to manage it as a volunteer. There is another organization in town that is in talks to take over and keep it running, that would be really great. SO…now I have to find something else to do. I am pretty sure I’ll get unemployment and shouldn’t have too much trouble finding another job.

My dear friend Steven is moving away on Monday. He’s the person I enjoy hanging out with the most, I love him a lot. There’s gonna be a big hole in my life, and my heart, when he leaves.

Another close friend has also moved away…Michael moved to NYC last month. Friends moving away sucks!

Tomas is coming to spend a week with me, he’ll be here Tuesday. I have to clean house.

I’m going white water rafting with The Oregon Bears tomorrow. And today at 1:00 I’m going to meet with a personal trainer at Bally’s.

So…I’m back, and I guess I do regret deleting all my old posts…but even my mother could easily find this blog by googling Citywoof, so…this is the new version.

I’m reinventing my blog…new posts will begin soon.
